Mayapples 9×12 inch Acrylic Painting

“Mayapples” is a piece inspired by a hike. I was on a local hiking trail in the spring, and found lots of mayapples growing along the forest floor. I love the leaf shape, and how intricate the cells of each leaf are, and I just had to paint them!
